DOWSIL 3527 Release Agent

Blend of polydimethylsiloxane and high molecular weight silicone resin. Useful as release agent of plastic parts particularly polyester and polyurethane type used in automotive and shoe sole applications. Useful as active ingredient in auto and home care polishes. It also can be used for Pulp antifoam formulation.

Properties :

• Release of plastic parts:
  Particularly polyester and polyurethane type, such as shoe soles
• Release of integral skin PU parts for automotive applications:
  Bumpers
  Crash-pads
  Dashboards

Application

• 100% (w/w) active material
• Good heat stability
• No build-up on metal molds
• Good wetting and spreading on molds
• Cleaning, prior to finishing molded parts, is minimized
• High flash point (> 250°C)
